This series of smaller signs iscut from specially imported ultra-thin plywood for a finer and more prototypicalappearance.
This sign is based on a combination of several prototypes and is perfectfor transition-era layouts. Located on or near the main freight station,it helped draw attention to the railroad’s less-than-carload-lot freightservice. Although this business was eventually taken over by truck andplane, some of these signs survive today.
